American Flag Hurricane Trifle
The perfect summer and 4th of July Dessert!

  1. A clean, clear glass hurricane lamp
  2. 2 packages of lemon Jello pudding.
  3. 2 lemons
  4. 1 pint heavy whipping cream
  5. 1 tablespoon vanilla
  6. 4 cups Manaserro Farms strawberries sliced lengthwise
  7. 2 cups blueberries
  8. 2 cups blackberries
  9. 1 round angel food cake (you may use pre baked from grocery store)
  1. Prepare two packages of lemon Jello pudding.
  2. Grate the zest of two fresh lemons and mix it into the pudding.
  3. Whip one pint of heavy whipping cream with 1 tbl vanilla.
  4. Fold the whipped cream into the pudding, and reserve ¼ cup for the top.
  5. Slice the cake horizontally in to make 3 rounds.
  6. Ladle pudding mixture to cover bottom of hurricane, place 1 round of cake on top.
  7. Fill in the sides of cake with strawberries, ladle more pudding.
  8. Layer strawberries, then blue berries and blackberries
  9. Place another round of cake, fill sides with strawberries, ladle more pudding
  10. Layer strawberries, then blue berries and blackberries
  11. Place last round of cake on top, fill in sides with strawberries, ladle rest of pudding
  12. Create an outer circle of blue and blackberries, fill in the circle with strawberries
  13. Top with remaining ¼ cup whipped cream and top with a whole strawberry or blackberry.
  14. Refrigerate until ready to serve. Enjoy!!
