Heirloom Tomato Salad
This rustic salad is so simple and delicious it will be a summer staple on your table. Use the whole tomato. Don't cut out the stem end or any marks on the skin. Heirlooms are ugly and fantastic, use it!! I like to make this at least an hour ahead so the juice from the tomatoes and the olive oil can create a wonderful dressing. If you make it while people are waiting it will still be perfect!

  1. • 2 or 3 large Heirloom tomatoes, cut into large chunks
  2. • Fresh Basil leaves, torn in half. Use as much as you like. I love the taste of fresh basil so I use a bunch!
  3. • Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  4. • Kosher salt & pepper to taste
  1. Toss all ingredients in a large bowl and watch it disappear.
