    IRVINE — In a few years, cyclists will be able to ride the entire stretch along Jeffrey Road without sharing the path with fast-driving cars.

    The city plans to extend the Jeffrey Open Space Trail from Walnut Avenue near Interstate 5 down to Barranca Parkway, as well as build a bridge across the freeway. That will close a 1.2-mile gap and complete the seamless pedestrian and bicycle path from Portola Parkway to Interstate 405. Read More Here

    The menu for the recent “Farming It Forward” fundraiser at Manassero Farms in Irvine included T-bone steaks and fresh vegetables.

    Celebrities including Rusty Coones, Nick Searcy, Carmen Argenziano, Eileen Grubba and Tim Abell were seated at tables in support of two charity groups from Southern California – American Soldier Network and Kitty Katchers, Inc.

    About 75 people attended the dinner, which raised $1,455 from tickets sales and an auction. Chef Pascal Olhats, owner of three restaurants including Épicerie Pascal and Café Jardin in Newport Beach, prepared dinner. Read More Here

    Although the winds of winter are still present in Tustin, fruit and vegetable lovers can now enjoy spring and summer produce from the Manassero Farms Market stand on the corner of 17th Street and Newport Avenue.
